The Office of University Events is a professional team that supports the president and goals of West Virginia University by reinforcing the University brand and its traditions. Our team treats everyone with respect in a supportive and consistent way—creating a flexible, innovative, and effective work environment.
We meet the stated purpose for each presidential and university-wide event with a strategic plan by bringing our valuable resources, various areas of expertise, and a broad perspective while continuing to support our 21st century land grant mission.

Our Location
The Office of University Events is located on the third floor of Purinton House, on the downtown Morgantown campus of West Virginia University. Purinton House served as the president’s official residence from 1905 to 1964.
